Choose the right diaper bag

A diaper-bag is a helpful way to organize your baby items for the first couple or few years.  You may use it for longer to tote around snacks and kid toys or use it as a family carry-on bag.  Meanwhile, it’s what most new Moms consider a necessity.  Since there’s so much to choose from below are a few favorites that may wish to consider…  A few must-haves before you chose yours may be (1) functionality to carry over your stroller; (2) easy to clean, (3) changing pads and/or insulated bottle carriers.

Regardless of if you are in the market to bu y a diaper for yourself or loved one, I wish you a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.  If you do any shopping on Black Friday and/or Cyber Monday, please let us know if you find any diaper bag deals or if there’s something else you recommend. Give thanks

2 Thanksgivings ago days before Andrew’s birth

I hope your weekend was relaxing and fun. Our family recharged as we enjoyed long walks with beautiful weather in Chicago. It was refreshing not to over schedule and slow down. Dress for success

Party Dress & a Litle Black Dress

Wearing a dress makes many women (including myself) feel confident and more comfortable.  In fact, dresses aren’t limited to women!  Former Bulls player Dennis Rodman says, “If I want to wear a dress, I’ll wear a dress.”  Rodman was famous for dying his hair loud colors and outlandish publicity stunts such as wearing a wedding dress to promote his biography in 1996.  Dresses seem to be a statement piece to stand out for someone like Rodman. Second+ pregnancy and what goes with it

Some Moms expecting their first child eat, breathe, and sleep all about their new baby. They may nap every day after work, go to sleep early and even sleep in on the weekend. While they are not resting or working, they may eagerly read What to Expect When You’re Expecting (now available as an app) and various email updates, which describe each day of pregnancy as your body essentially runs a marathon in terms of energy expended while it’s creating a baby. They may happily sign-up for multiple parent classes and read about everything from baby products to sleep training and soothing their unborn child and have the nursery planned even before they find out they are expecting. Once busy with an older child, parents often do not enjoy pregnancy planning as much with second+ children…
